Lucas Martinic's magical app utilizes Unity and a Logitech MX Stylus pen.
Take a look at this insane real-time XR setup unveiled recently by Prototyper and Developer Lucas Martinic that, at first glance, may look like pure magic. Created as a submission for the recently concluded XR Hack Stockholm jam, Lucas' jaw-dropping app allows him to extract colors from real-life objects in virtual reality and then draw using those colors, unlocking a wide range of creative possibilities.
As for the hardware and software behind the setup, the developer utilized Unity, a Meta Quest headset, the Android MediaProjector API, and a Logitech MX Stylus pen, with Julian Triveri's repository serving as the starting point. Not only did the online community love it, but the event organizers were also impressed, awarding Lucas' app two prizes – Meta's Best Utility and Design and Logitech's Best Use of the Stylus.
