The Making of Allegorithmic Tribute

Vinícius Cortez gave a little talk about his latest substance, sharing some details on the production process.

Vinícius Cortez has recently presented an awesome Allegorithmic Tribute project. It is a complex substance inspired by the Dead Fish Pile from Eric Wiley (you can read more about it here) that was created with the help of Substance Designer. The artist gave a little talk, sharing some details on the production process.

This Substance is my most varied so far, gave me a lot of work but at the same time was very fun to do, the idea was to make a material to study better more complex shapes.

I’ll talk a little about the main elements.

The creation of strawberry shape was not as complex as I thought it would be.

For the chantilly was even more simple.

And for the Allegorithmic text was very simple too.

Non uniform blur is a very powerful node! Hope these simple techniques can help you.
