Procedural Garden Design in Photoshop & Substance Designer

Andrei Zelenco shared a rather unique way of using Substance Designer for procedural garden design. 

The video above shows how you can mix work in Photoshop and Substance Designer to quickly set up different designs. First, he used Photoshop to create an ID map which is the main input for the graph.

Then he switched to Substance Designer where he set up a plan and a perspective rendering for the schematic design input.

This allows to make quick adjustments to the ID map in Photoshop and Substance Designer will redraw the plan and the perspective. Also, you can use a number of Substance Designer's procedural tools to change the final look.
