The OctaneRender developer joins the long list of 3D software's patrons.
OTOY, the creator of OctaneRender, has started backing the Blender Development Fund, joining other famous companies in supporting the free 3D software.
According to CG Channel, the company became a member of the fund in December, although it didn't show off the news. It will be paying €240,000/year to help Blender develop its features.
The Blender Development Fund's goal is to ensure Blender's growth. Every member of the fund receives powerful software with new features, good development support and quick bug fixes, as well as visibility and recognition online.
The project is backed by big companies like Apple, Adobe, Facebook, AWS, Microsoft, AMD, Unity, and many more, and now OTOY is part of its future.
