Jakob Wahlberg, the developer behind Go Mecha Ball, has announced that he's working on a new untitled game alongside Robin Kollberg under their small studio, TwoPeaks. This game features a subtle yet pretty unique style reminiscent of Tunic or classic The Legend of Zelda games, with a bunny knight protagonist and dungeon crawler mechanics, as showcased in several work-in-progress videos.
Jacob recently mentioned that he personally dislikes PBR rendering, which is why he's using unlit URP shaders in both of his projects, providing him complete control over the lighting. Given the degree of customization in his shaders, it's reasonable to assume that the effect above is essentially multiplying the vertices.
