A great solution by Carow.
Every Unity stealth or horror game will benefit from Lumi, a fascinating light detector created by Carow. The tool works great with directional, point, and spot real-time lights, allowing you to set up detection mechanics more easily.
Carow shared that for real-time lights, rays are traced to the sample points to see if anything is occluding. "If not, we use the same light calculations the URP Lit shaders use to find the intensity of the light at the sample point. For baked lights, we either sample the light probes or the lightmap."
