Check Out This Series of Tutorials on Procedural Animation in Unity

Nicky Boccuzzi from the iHeartGameDev YouTube channel announced the final video in a series of tutorials on Unity-powered procedural character animation.

Software Engineer and Game Developer Nicky Boccuzzi from the iHeartGameDev YouTube channel has been sharing the eight-part tutorial series on procedural animation in Unity. The first video was published last July, and recently, the creator announced the final tutorial in the series.

In a recent Twitter post, Nicky showcased an immersive Unity-powered animation of a character walking and interacting with the environment. We can also see a potential final game-ready version of the animation. It is created with an amazing level of expertise, and the character's movements and physics are captured accurately and realistically.

The overall series' goal was to show how the procedural environment interactions from popular AAA third-person games are made, as well as demonstrate how to recreate them with Unity. Check out some of the tutorials from the series:
