The artist showcased a new animation made for his 3D portrait of Disney legend, Glen Keane.
Jeff Lianza, a talented Digital Artist and Joint Head of Animation at The One Academy, continues working on his 3D tribute to Glen Keane, a legendary Character Animator at Disney, presenting what has to be one of the most realistic eye animations you've ever seen. Designed for testing purposes, the new masterpiece portrays digital Keane scrunching his eyes, with the details being driven via a Wrinkle Map. As for the software, the artist employed the ZBrush+Arnold combination to set up and render the animation.
Notably, this is not the first time Jeff has impressed the community with his eye animation tests. Earlier, the creator also depicted the character slowly opening the eyes and blinking to the camera:
Additionally, Jeff has provided a couple of WIP renders of Keane, revealing that besides ZBrush and Arnold, he also used XGen and TexturingXYZ's VFace to bring the character to life. At the moment, the portrait is still a work in progress, so we highly encourage you to follow the creator on LinkedIn so as not to miss any future updates.
