While a pre-patch is launching this month.

The highly anticipated World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classic expansion of Blizzard's iconic MMORPG is on the horizon. Following a slight delay, official launch dates for Cataclysm Classic and a comprehensive roadmap detailing the release timeline for its patches have been revealed, providing players with a clearer idea of what to expect in the coming months.

"The Cataclysm Classic pre-expansion patch ushers in the shattering of Azeroth and the changed landscape in Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms, a variety of systems changes along with new class and race combinations, and the new Worgen and Goblin races. Players can also begin learning the new Archaeology profession, use Reforging to upgrade your gear, and more," stated Blizzard.

The pre-patch update is scheduled for April 30, leading to the launch of Cataclysm Classic on May 20. Rise of the Zandalari is slated for July 2024, Rage of the Firelands for October 2024, and Hour of Twilight for January 2025.
