80 Level is kicking off a new contest inviting 3D Environment Artists to share their latest works!
The 80 Level team, in collaboration with Concept Artist Quentin Pointillart, is delighted to announce the launch of our brand-new contest, inviting 3D Environment Artists to share their latest works and get a chance to win Quentin's latest bundle of useful Blender tools designed to make production workflows more convenient!
The bundle in question includes three separate tools – DrawTerrain, which allows you to quickly sketch terrains, keep them editable, and easily modify their shape at any time; DrawScatter, which enables you to simply drag and drop assets from your library, select a modifier, pick a curve, and start drawing the area you want to fill; and TextureBlender, a tool that makes shading and texturing faster and more convenient.
The best part is, it's easier than ever to enter the contest – you hardly even have to do anything to participate! All you need to do is share with us one of your finished 3D environments created with the help of Blender, along with a few WIP shots simply to prove that it is indeed your work. The editorial team will then evaluate the entries based on such factors as Complexity, Creativity, and Eye-Candiness and award a free copy of Quentin's fantastic bundle to the winner!
