鰐軍壮 got all the visuals, now the idea needs some mechanics.
VHS-like graphics have a certain charm, perfect for a horror game or a puzzle. Cosplayer 鰐軍壮 seems to agree, but he sees them fit for a shooter, and it does look great.
The creator imagined a police officer investigating mysterious incidents in a cursed village "with strange customs," who has to fight villagers and uncover the mastermind behind the plot.
"I thought it would be interesting if the gameplay screen looked like a home video, but it ended up having a better atmosphere than I expected, and I think it's good in its own way," he said (via Google).
鰐軍壮 sees the project as a mix between Police 911 (also known as Police 24/7 or The Keisatsukan) and the horror Forbidden Siren 2.
It's definitely an interesting concept to explore, and I hope the creator, who plays the officer's role as I understand, will find a programmer who can turn this dream into reality.
鰐軍壮 cosplays other military characters and also bizarre creatures. To combine the two, he founded the special Air Self-Defense Force "to protect the skies of the capital from the mysterious monsters that spread throughout the world."
