UE5-Powered Music Game Rytma Gets a Gameplay Trailer

Creator Ali Eser has shared an extended look at the game and provided some details on its plot.

Back in early 2023, we reported on Rytma, an upcoming indie game with gorgeous and realistic-looking environments that look extremely similar to the regions of the real-life Mediterranean Basin, being developed by Digital Artist and Game Developer Ali Eser alongside two teammates – a Programmer and a Composer.

Since then, the development of Rytma has been steadily progressing, with Ali sharing mesmerizing demos every once in a while, giving fans a closer look at the game's stunning visual style and offering a glimpse into the development process. Recently, to the delight of fans, the developer unveiled a complete gameplay teaser, embedded above, and shared some insightful details about the forthcoming title.

According to the author, Rytma will be characterized as  where players step into the shoes of a traveling seeker. Their primary objective will be to learn and understand an obscure teaching conveyed through music and sound. Furthermore, it was previously disclosed that the game is powered by Unreal Engine 5, and the character's responsive clothing is crafted using the engine's Chaos Cloth tool.

And here are some of the earlier demos shared by Ali, you can see more and follow the development process by visiting the developer's Twitter and ArtStation pages:

Around a week ago, we also provided an update on We Kill Monsters, the upcoming solo/co-op adventure game by Jacob Williams, in which Ali Eser is actively contributing to the development as an Environment Artist. You can learn more about WKM here.
