Tutorial: Sci-Fi Scene Production

Joe Garth returns with another video tutorial, which shows a quick way to build a cinematic scene in Cryengine.

Crytek’s senior cinematic artist Joe Garth shows a very cool workflow, which allows to quickly build a very neat sci-fi scene. He goes into the smallest of details, talking about the kitbash usage, use of Megascans and Quixel SUITE 2. As always Joe likes to go into the smallest details of modeling, creation of maps, working with materials and, of course, setting up the scene in Cryengine.

If you’ve missed the previous tutorial from Joe, you can check it out over here.

Great job by Joe and Crytek. I hope that Cryengine gets a chance to compete in the Unreal and Unity dominated game engine market. It has vastly improved over the last year.
