Tutorial: Creating Medieval Game Environment in UE4

Check out a cool scene made with Megascans assets and a detailed tutorial on how to create it from start to finish. 

Quixel released a UE 4.26 showcase medieval game environment scene made with Megascans assets. 

The tutorial covers all major production steps as well as explains new features of UE 4.26 shown in the walkthrough. Each step has a video with Jakob Keudel from Quixel who goes into the details of the process. Covered steps are: 

  • Blockout 
  • House Creation 
  • Thatched Roofs 
  • Foliage Creation 
  • Set Dressing 
  • Lighting
