This UE5-Powered RTS about Saving a Doomed Ant Colony Goes Live Tomorrow

Empire of the Ants, a UE5-powered 3D real-time strategy game that lets you play the role of a brave ant, is going live in less than a day. Its newest trailer takes us to the beautiful yet dangerous mini world, which is filled with insect warfare. 

Here is a bit of game information for those who missed our previous reports. Based on Bernard Werber’s eponymous book, Empire of the Ants puts you in the shoes of Ant Savior, who is tasked to save a doomed ant colony through adventure-filled exploration, strategic battles, and alliances made with other wildlife species. Seasons and the time of day affect the game's environments and gameplay mechanics, forcing you to adapt to the harshness of the photorealistic forest in which the story takes place.

During the Steam broadcast, two developers from the Tower Five studio provide additional information about gameplay, development, and design while playing the game. They mention that the team visited the forest to scan some of the materials, like trunks, and collect sounds there to breathe life into the game.
