This Blender Setup Turns Geometry into Photorealistic Ice Cubes

Geometry Nodes by Pawel_CGI.

Winter is the time to remember the sunny days of summer spent on some beach with a refreshing drink in hand. If you want to recreate this moment but struggle with ice cubes, Paweł Pęcherzewski, a.k.a. Pawel_CGI, can help you with his ice maker for Blender.

The tool turns simple geometry into photorealistic ice using Geometry Nodes. You can add bubbles, imperfections, and customizable surface details and enjoy lifelike refraction, dispersion, and light scattering.

"No need to be a Blender expert – fine-tune results quickly with intuitive sliders and settings exposed in the modifiers tab," the creator says.

If the images tempt you, grab the add-on on Gumroad to use with Blender 4.3+. While you're at it, check out Pęcherzewski's other works.
