Theodore Daley took on the difficult task of slowly turning Akira the anime into Akira the manga, keeping the animations intact, and his efforts are paying off nicely.
Check out these awesome sequences from the movie recreated with Cinema 4D, Redshift's Toon shader, and Houdini. His latest frame is worth rewatching over and over, and I can't even imagine how long it took Daley to make these buildings.
