Rocksteady Studios has shared the action-packed gameplay accompanied by the opening of pre-orders for the game.
Rocksteady Studios, the developer of the upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, has shared with fans an in-depth look at the game in a new 20-minute video. The video, part of the Suicide Squad Insider series, focuses on the game's story and gameplay elements. It shows that the main threat in the game is a Justice League under the control of Brainiac, along with the entire population of Metropolis, who are "enhanced" by alien invaders.

The video also sheds light on how the Suicide Squad, known as Task Force X, gains their superpowers. Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark embark on a mission to steal gear from superheroes and supervillains, such as Batman's grapple gun and glider, Doctor Sivana's Speed Force Gauntlet, and Gizmo's jetpack. The footage showcases fast-paced traversal through Metropolis, combining vertical movement with a mix of gunplay and melee combat. The combat mechanics include warnings for precise shooting and the ability to execute combos, enabling the squad to take down multiple enemies simultaneously. Notably, the emphasis on collectible gear, which drew comparisons to Destiny 2 and Anthem in previous showcases, is minimal in this video, with plans to address it in a future update.
