Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was released over a week ago, and we haven't heard much about its bugs or technical problems that concerned players so far.
Well, just like any other game, this third-person action shooter has bugs that we just recently found out about.
On the game's Discord server, Rocksteady shared that the studio is implementing a new leaderboard because of a "major unintended bug" that led to incorrect scaling of the Burn status. The developer faced this issue as players surpassed Mastery Levels beyond their "wildest expectations" during the postgame phase.
"We want to applaud you all for both your dedication on getting this high in the Mastery Levels (and also breaking the game)," said Rocksteady.

Explaining the situation, Rocksteady noted that the bug caused Burn's damage to rise in line with Mastery levels, which wasn't the thing the developer planned at launch. The studio also confirmed that they are working on eliminating the scaling bug. Once the fix is completed, a new leaderboard will be launched to ensure fair competition for all players.
Also, you shouldn't worry as the developer will keep the previous leaderboard so you can cherish your past accomplishments. Speaking of unlocked Mastery Levels, Finite Crisis ranks, obtained gear, and Squad Levels, these won't be altered in any way.
