Stunning 2D-Looking Call Of Duty: Mobile Animation Created With Almost No Post-Production

Andry Dédouze showcased how he handles things in the viewport.

Andry Dédouze, renowned for his distinctive art style, has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the animation he created for Activision, showcasing his unique take on the Call of Duty: Mobile's Objective Player tarot card.

The entire piece was crafted in Blender, with everything placed within a single set, as visible in the viewport, including light beams, the picture frame, and more. Andry strives to minimize post-production, opting for real-time adjustments instead. He dynamically alters the camera's focal length to adjust the perception of distance, making it feel either closer or farther as needed, and also distorts the 3D models to compensate for the perspective, ensuring the final look stays true to his signature flat, graphic style.
