StarCraft II's Thor Mecha Recreated in Maya & Fusion 360

Here's a great StarCraft fan art created by Alexandre Quintin.

3D Modeller at Scanline VFX Montreal Alexandre Quintin has released a wonderful recreation of StarCraft II's Thor unit. According to the artist, the goal was to make a realistic and cinematic version of the Terran mech, using diverse hydraulic system references. The model was made using Maya, Fusion 360, Octane Render, and a variety of Adobe software like Photoshop, After Effects, and Lightroom.

Besides Thor, Alexandre also has many other fantastic hard-surface projects in the portfolio. Previously, the author had recreated StarCraft II's Terran Banshee, using the same tools. You can check out this project and more by visiting the artist's ArtStation page

Stunning work, man. I really like this design and the way you've overbuilt this thing.
