Resident Evil 9 Is Reported to Be Set on an Island

That's according to an industry insider.

Recently, there has been much speculation surrounding Resident Evil 9, the forthcoming addition to Capcom's beloved franchise. Adding to the rumors about the open-world gameplay that we talked about at the end of March, industry insider Dusk Golem has revealed the setting for the anticipated game.

Although Capcom has not yet provided an official announcement regarding the title, Dusk Golem, renowned for sharing details about Resident Evil, shared that the game would be set on a fictional island in Southeast Asia.

"A fictional rural town on an island in the Southeast Asia Sea inspired by Singapore specifically," the insider wrote.
