Get your 3D models optimized and ready for many applications with RapidPipeline's free beta, open until August 1.
Have you ever asked yourself why 3D data prep is so hard? And how nice could it be if it were as easy as ordering a pizza? If you are a Tech Artist, you might know this problem: you have a stunning 3D model, but it needs to be deployed across various apps and devices, each with its own set of requirements.
For instance, your 3D model might be needed in a Unity app as well as an Unreal Engine project. For augmented reality, Android phones require glTF, while iOS devices need USDZ. On top of that, you need different LODs for a game or a VR app. And a nice version for a browser app, such as a floor planning tool or a small game. And that's not mentioning the requirements of the Apple Vision Pro, the list goes on and on.
The creators of RapidPipeline had exactly that problem – spending long nights working on 3D projects, with complex 3D data preparation pipelines. Until one night, having ordered pizza, they had an idea: what if 3D data prep could be automated, making it as easy as ordering a pizza?
The concept is straightforward: a Tech Artist can choose the specific ingredients and style they need and then process a project with a single click, whether it's just one model or ten different ones. However, there are times when you have unique requirements. In these cases, you can customize the preset by modifying its components and creating your own version before processing. You might need to preserve the UVs of your model or want to bake only a Normal Map and skip the AO baking. This way, you achieve the best result tailored to your specific use case.
RapidPipeline is currently in open beta – you can join and explore the Starter Plan for free before August 1. You can also use discount code RAPIDLAUNCH for 25% off on any purchase before August 1 and learn more about RapidPipeline by visiting their Instagram and Twitter pages.
