Overgrown Ta Phrom Temple Reimagined in 3D

Take a look at Gabriela N. Estrada Amador's stunning environment.

Inspired by the Cambodian temple Ta Prohm, Environment Artist Gabriela N. Estrada Amador decided to recreate it in 3D, and the result is definitely worth admiring.

The creator used Maya, Substance 3D Painter and Sampler, ZBrush, DaVinci Resolve, SpeedTree, and Unreal Engine to see the project to completion.

"This 3D model of the Ta Prohm temple, with its mesmerizing trees and ancient ruins, was both challenging and deeply fulfilling for me. I've always been captivated by ancient temples – their rich history and the meticulous craftsmanship behind them truly inspire me. I poured my passion for these structures into every detail, focusing on capturing the worn textures of the stonework and the organic, intertwined growth of the iconic tree," Gabriela said.

The temple is the final project the artist had to make at Think Tank Training Centre. The guidance and feedback from Environment Artist Nikhil Kedige helped her produce this beautiful scene.
