RapidPipeline, a Blender add-on that lets you prepare CAD files for efficient product visualization, has been updated.
RapidPipeline, Darmstadt Graphics Group's Blender add-on that offers a range of features that cater to the needs of modern 3D Artists and lets you prepare CAD files for efficient product visualization, has received a new update, improving the plug-in's functionality and user experience.
For those unfamiliar, RapidPipeline enables you to process, optimize, and simplify 3D models directly within Blender, ensuring that all operations are performed on your own machine, for maximum efficiency and security.
With it, you can create and share custom presets with your team, ensuring consistent settings across all projects. What's more, it allows you to optimize selected 3D models interactively, including mesh optimization (decimation or remeshing), UV unwrapping, texture baking, and invisible geometry culling
With the latest update, RapidPipeline has been enhanced with the addition of native UI, making it possible to work directly in Blender. CAD files can now be imported, and tessellation can be customized. Finally, the plug-in is now available for both Windows and Mac.
