Prices range from $549 to $2000.
NVIDIA has unveiled the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070 – the company's long-awaited next-generation graphics cards. The new GPUs were announced during the company's CES 2025 presentation, which was hosted by CEO Jensen Huang.
The GeForce RTX 5090, priced at $1999, will go on sale on January 30. Following it, NVIDIA will release the RTX 5080 for $999, the RTX 5070 Ti for $749, and the RTX 5070 for $549. The latter two models are set to launch in February.
NVIDIA states that the new graphics cards will deliver significantly improved performance compared to the previous generation. For example, the RTX 5070, priced at $549, is said to offer performance comparable to the RTX 4090.
The new RTX 50 GPUs feature a 16-pin power connector, PCIe 5.0 interface, GDDR7 memory, and DisplayPort 2.1a. They will also support the new DLSS 4 technology, featuring multi-frame generation (but we'll talk about that later today).
The CEO emphasized that each model is up to twice as fast as its predecessor, particularly when leveraging the multi-frame generation feature in DLSS 4.
