Meet The Only Pac-Man Battle Royal With Cross-Platform Play

Eat your way through interconnected mazes and be the last Pac standing at the end of the match in a 64-player cross-platform Battle Royal in the upcoming Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs.

With an almost poetic title, this 2020 Pac-Man Google Stadia game has chomped its way to modern consoles and Steam. If you're upset with Pac-Man 99 ending its online service, check out this upcoming Pac-Man multiplayer game featuring cross-platform play for the first time.

Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs features plenty of vibrant interconnected mazes, a fun variety of body, head, and face cosmetics to customize Pacs, an assortment of Power Items to give you the upper hand against the Ghosts, and, of course, a 64-player Battle Royal.

Like normal Pac-Man, you can devour dots, fruit, and Ghosts, but can also cannibalize your fellow Pacs.

There'll be a selection of modes, such as Elimination and Ranked, with online leaderboards and the chance to earn Tokens to trade for cosmetics. Ranked Mode features serious competition against players of similar ranking where you earn Rank XP to place on the leaderboards.

Apparently, the difference from the original Stadia release is the new soundtrack and upgraded visuals. And of course, the cross-play option to compete with your friends across various consoles.

Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs is coming May 9th on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
