Luxion has released KeyShot 11.3, adding the Merge Parts feature, full Apple silicon support, and new Color, Material & Finish output features to the real-time 3D rendering tool.
The full native Apple silicon support means that users with a newer Mac will experience 15 to 30% performance gains in both rendering and overall usability, according to Luxion. KeyShot Network Rendering users will also see better performance in Apple silicon.
The new Merge Parts feature in the Mesh Simplification tool can help reduce scene size for a faster viewing experience. Cameras and Environment variations are also now supported in web viewer.
Additionally, KeyShot 11.3 adds the option of exporting Color, Material & Finish (CMF) output in a PDF format as well as project-based CMF data import/export to the material information manager. CMF output is a feature introduced in KeyShot 11 that saves hours of manual labor and reduces the risk of manufacturing errors.
Other changes include KeyShot Web Viewer's revamped user interface and updates for KeyShot Network Rendering users. You can see them all here.
