The chilling roguelite World of Horror is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
You can finally experience the quiet terror of World of Horror, a cosmic horror retro RPG, a "1-bit love letter to Junji Ito and H.P. Lovecraft" by Panstasz.
This "hellish roguelite" spent over 3 years in Early Access and is now ready to be played on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

"World of Horror follows the rural residents of a seaside Japanese town facing inhuman terrors, as reality frays and tears at the edges. Investigate the eldritch mysteries striking your town, and seek the truth behind the depredations of man and monster. Solve puzzles to collect precious items and arcane spells. Struggle against malevolent legends of Japanese folklore while trying to hold onto your sanity and survive in this horrific 1-bit roguelite RPG."

This game had been on many horror lovers' minds for quite some time: just 4 days after its release, World of Horror received nearly 6,000 reviews, 93% of them positive. Its Metascore on Metacritic is 83 out of 100, and I have no doubt players will have something good to say there, too.
World of Horror is a unique RPG that invites you to navigate its world, drawn entirely in MS Paint, through turn-based combat and unforgiving choices. You'll discover unsettling clues and solve puzzles across multiple randomized mysteries.
Each complex case leads to a series of random meetings with terrifying creatures. Discover the fates of 14 unique characters and pick your way through 20 horrifying investigations. Most mysteries have multiple endings, so finish it and try again.

“Reaching the end of development on WORLD OF HORROR has become a massive achievement years in the making, and a journey I do not regret for even a second,” said Pawel Kozminski, founder of Panstasz. “The path, of course, doesn’t end here. I cannot wait to see what new mysteries descend upon Shiokawa through the PC modding community and what journeys I take next.”
