Lethal Company Meets Science Gone Wrong: Multiplayer Crafting Survival

Abiotic Factor lets you be a scientist in an SCP environment.

So you've landed that dream job at the secretive GATE laboratories, only for your career and your whole life to go wrong and monsters from other dimensions to invade your world. This is the gist of Abiotic Factor, an upcoming crafting survival experience for you and your friends.

"As a GATE employee you extend the bounds of human knowledge, and seek to explain the unexplainable - including anomalies and paranormal entities: from gravity-distorting artifacts to supernatural creatures with an unbridled instinct for violence. Safety, security, and secrecy are of the utmost importance… usually."

After a containment breach, you find yourself in quite a situation: weird creatures are invading your world, and an arcane military sect – known as The Order – is trying to eliminate both the monsters and the staff. But you're a smart scientist with a Ph.D. (from Plant Geneticist to Defense Analyst and Structural Engineer) to help you get out of this mess. Explore the underground facility, build your character, gear up, and try to leave the complex "filled with supernatural artifacts, transdimensional foes, and science experiments gone awry."

Abiotic Factor reminds me of Lethal Company and an SCP game, all mixed to produce a curious co-op experience with a 90s sci-fi twist, which you can also traverse alone.

"Between alien threats hunting their next meal, trigger-happy soldiers, and the world’s most advanced robotic security forces attacking personnel working overtime, there’s no shortage of danger. As a scientist, fighting isn’t your forte, so you’ll need to put your Ph.D. to work to outwit your opponents: craft ingenious and outlandish tools, weapons and gear, from simple nets and wooden bats to laser cannons and elaborate traps - everything your big science brain can muster!"

As you scavenge, craft, and evade death, you'll also be building your fortress underground. And when the time comes, you'll move it all with handcarts, forklifts, SUVs, teleporters, and more.
