3D Artist Tawan Sunflower has released a step-by-step YouTube tutorial on creating a simple but effective stylized real-time rain and splashes simulation along with free Blender project files.

This technique shared by 3D Artist and Blender tutorial creator Tawan Sunflower doesn't require water simulation and easily allows one to make a real-time rain simulation with the help of Geometry Nodes.

Along with a comprehensive and well-explained "do it with me" tutorial, the artist also shared free project files so you can set up your own simulation right away. Note, that the files are compatible only with Blender 4.1.

Tawan Sunflower's YouTube channel is dedicated to delivering Blender knowledge including Geometry Nodes and shaders to beginners in an approachable way. As the artist says, these tutorials are free and always will be.
