Kingdom Come: Deliverance Sales Hit 5 Million Copies

That's one million more since the last sales update.

Warhorse Studio's medieval role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance has sold over 5 million copies. The new figure reflects another one million units sold since the last sales update in November 2021.

The developer announced the news on Twitter thanking the fans for their support and launched a draw where players have a chance to win a diorama figurine of the game's protagonist Henry if they tell their favorite KCD story on the studio's social networks.

"Today we celebrate the milestone of more than 5 million copies of Kingdom Come: Deliverance sold across all platforms. Thank you for your loyalty!" the developer wrote.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance was released in February 2018, four years after the successful completion of the Kickstarter fundraising where Warhorse managed to garner over $2 million. The game was received mostly positively, with an average Metacritic score of 76 out of 100.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a story-driven open-world RPG with a focus on realistic sword fighting. It is currently available for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

Last year, it became known that the game was being ported to Nintendo Switch, although since then the developers have not shared additional details about the Switch version of the game and even an approximate release date is still unclear.
