Here Are More Details Revealed on Assassin's Creed Infinity's Live Service Hub

The hub will feature a store and mini narrative-focused battle passes.

Firstly announced in 2021, Ubisoft didn't share much on what Assassin's Creed Infinity would look like and what we should expect from the developer. Later, we discovered that it would be a platform that would serve as a hub connecting Assassin's Creed games and featuring some online elements. Well, except for that, we didn't hear lots of details about the upcoming project.

Recently, industry insider Tom Henderson has shed some light on Assassin's Creed Infinity. According to Henderson, Assassin's Creed Infinity will serve as a central hub for all future installments of the series, allowing players to seamlessly access and continue playing from their last save within Infinity.

This live service hub will also have monetization. It will feature a store, called "The Exchange", where players can buy cosmetics and see some sort of mini narrative-focused battle passes.

Adding to that, the release schedule for Assassin's Creed projects includes plans for launching one main game every two years, with additional smaller projects in between. The upcoming projects include Red, a key game with RPG mechanics set to release later this year, Invictus, an online game scheduled for release in 2025, and Hexe, a key game with new mechanics, set to be the darkest installment in the series, releasing in 2026.

Hexe will reportedly focus on a witch hunt theme and will take place in Germany and surrounding areas during the time of the Holy Roman Empire, with players taking on the role of a woman protagonist

Other projects in the pipeline include Obsidian's Black Flag Remake, Nebula set in India, the Aztec Empire, and the Mediterranean, "a free-to-play 4-player co-op that's PvE" called Raid, a multiplayer called Echoes, and an unnamed Assassin's Creed Remake, which is expected to be released by 2030.
