Helldivers 2 Players Report New New Type of Bugs

Creative director calls out liers: "Bugs can't fly."

Helldivers 2 is all about bugs, that's the whole concept, but imagine peacefully destroying familiar faces(?) when something you've never seen before attacks from above – this is what players have been reporting recently, and the flying beasts don't seem like a hallucination. But don't worry, it's all lies, apparently, spread by filthy bug lovers, according to Arrowhead's CEO Johan Pilestedt, and we should totally believe him, of course.

"I've heard rumors of flying bugs in Helldivers 2. I want to officially refute such preposterous claims.

Everyone knows that "Bugs can't fly".

And I'm not alone in thinking this. The Ministry of Truth agrees that this is propaganda from bug sympathizers that want to brainwash good people. #Lies"

Here is some more fake news: the flying bugs are called Shriekers, which is absolutely not true, naturally, and is not connected to the recent order to activate the Terminid Control System.

The disturbing sightings (which didn't happen) make players come up with all sorts of stories and possible consequences (which should not be believed) but don't worry, everything is totally fine.

And if a couple of non-existent bugs make you sweat, well, it's just a skill issue anyway.

Jokes aside, the bugs are just a natural development of the game, following mechas, which should provide full experience before live service, as Pilestedt mentioned earlier.
