Over the weekend, the announcement of Helldivers 2 requiring players to link their Steam accounts to PSN, if they wanted to keep playing the game, sparked significant backlash. After seeing players fighting for their beloved game, Sony swiftly reversed the decision, but not before the backlash led to a review bomb that negatively impacted the game's overall review status.
Johan Pilestedt, the CEO of Arrowhead, shared that their team is embracing the recent review bombing incident by turning it into a cape for the game. The cost of this review cap will be $999.99, as the CEO shared (it's a joke, of course, it'll be free of charge).
As for players, they have already started reversing their negative reviews into positive ones. For now, the game has already returned to its "mostly positive" status and boasts almost 70% pleasant feedback.
