Check out this Animated Insect Pack for Blender created by 3D Modeler/Animator Zack Ciminera, a.k.a. Zacxophone. It includes five highly detailed and animated models that were created from scratch by the creator. The models are rigged, animated, UVs unwrapped, and textured. Each model is available in a .fbx and Blender format with 2048px (2K) sized textures.
The five insects are butterfly, ladybug, dung beetle, dragonfly, and firebug. Here’s a list of the lifelike animations for each of them:
- Butterfly (5 animations: fly, walk, take off, and land, plus 10 wing colors)
- Ladybug (4 animations: fly, walk, take off and land)
- Dung beetle (6 animations: walk, idle, and four transitions)
- Dragonfly (5 animations: 2 fly, walk, take off and land)
- Firebug (1 animation: walk)
