Introducing the ability to guide the generation of images using your 3D objects' shape and create custom 3D models with text prompts.
The newly released Substance 3D Stager 3.1 beta further enhances the integration of the Firefly AI image creation tool within the Substance 3D ecosystem, introducing guide objects to simplify the Text to Background and 3D Model to Image workflows for your creations. By tagging any 3D object as a guide, you can position placeholder objects precisely where you want them, allowing Firefly to generate the surrounding details and save you time while delivering more expressive results.
Generate 3D models from text prompts to create ready-to-use background objects and props for your scene. Apply textures, decals, and materials to enhance their detail and realism.
Additionally, this release brings improved light generation using Match Image, allowing you to automatically composite your 3D object into background images. Match Image now creates 360 environment lights, giving more accurate context, reflections, and lighting results.
With Substance 3D Stager 3.1, you can also access common actions quickly with the context bar, set up your view with precision using in-viewport camera controls, and export environment lights as PSD or EXR files.
