3D Environment Artist Dany Arfan has expanded his impressive portfolio with the reveal of Urban Environment, a highly detailed 3D scene that blends dystopian futuristic aesthetics with Arabic architecture to create a distinctive setting that can only be described as Arabic cyberpunk.
Based mostly on CGBoost's Urban Environments course, most of the scene's buildings are custom-made, modeled and textured by Dany in Blender. Alongside Blender, the author also utilized character models from BigMediumSmall, background buildings from KitBash3D, and DaVinci Resolve for post-production, along with some additional textures and props sourced from Megascans. Additionally, Dany employed Mixamo animations to breathe life into the characters and JangaFX's EmberGen to simulate the explosion.

Back in 2020, Dany also joined 80 Level to tell us more about the Medieval Village project and explain the modeling and texturing workflows behind it. You can read the full interview here.
