The music is created by the Quartz subsystem.
Epic Games presented its lo-fi music for Fortnite. The interesting thing about it is that it's created procedurally using Unreal Engine's Quartz subsystem, so content creators don't have to worry about copyright strikes.
Quartz is a system that works around the issues of variable latency and game-thread timing incompatibility by providing a way to accurately play any sound sample. Instead of rendering a sound at the beginning of an audio buffer, Quartz cues the sound to play at a certain time or place.
The system was first introduced to Fortnite over a year ago in beta and is now used to create awesome vibes.
