Fortnite fans have long criticized the Switch version for technical issues, making it hard to enjoy the game on one of the most popular consoles. All of that should be in the past, as Fortnite will receive a special Nintendo Switch 2 port on launch day.
Additionally, Epic Games revealed that the Switch 2 will support both Unreal Engine 4 and Unreal Engine 5, allowing players to enjoy a wide range of Unreal Engine games. With its upgraded specs, the Switch 2 is already confirmed to run demanding titles like Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, and more.
Unity has also announced that game developers targeting the Switch 2 will receive official support with Unity 6, and many GameMaker games are expected to be available on the console at launch.
