FluidNinja VFX released a tool with combined generative and pre-rendered approaches to create texture-based collision and lighting responsive GPU systems.
FluidNinja 1.3 goes with three Niagara example levels with a showcase on how to work with already baked fluid data for GPU systems. The tool allows artists to work with it for different purposes, including:
- generating new fluid data with Ninja Core and use the data as input for NiagaraSystems
- customizing systems
- creating new emitters to extend and modify functionality
- re-constructing custom modules for new functionalities
