First-Look At Customization System & Social Features In This Cozy Farming Sim

The debut title of Torbie Games, Everbloom, is a cozy farming simulator that makes us say "awe" immediately after watching its trailer. We covered it back in September, and now the developer has shared many new showcases that are too good to miss. 

Here's what you can expect from it: like all the cozy farming simulators, you can run away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the peaceful rural life here, farming, crafting, cooking, fishing, making friends, and more. The vast map is home to various secrets and stories waiting to be discovered in deep forests or mysterious caves. Everbloom also allows you to work together with friends on quests and events and share resources.

The 20-second clip at the beginning of the article presents various game features, including character customization, weather changes, farming, and multiplayer mode. The developers have also given us deeper insights into these aspects through the recently shared footage. 

You can customize not only the characters but also the buildings to give them unique skins and decorations, and you can even gift clothes to a friend to wear. Here's a look at the cosmetics for buildings, the little fox, and the first look at the customization screen:

If you're into the social parts of gameplay, you can forge friendships with the characters and ask townsfolk on dates to know them better, unlock stories, and learn more about the world around you. 

Everbloom has attracted over 100,000 players to wishlist it on Steam, as the developer announced in March. They're also working on organizing a wider playtest in the near future, so players who've been waiting patiently can get their hands on it.
