Streamline the process of designing clothes for your 3D models with this automatic smart clothes generator for Blender, offering a variety of tools to customize the style and behavior of the cloth.
If you're looking for a way to simplify the process of designing clothes in Blender, check out this add-on made by Xane Studios, a team of professionals specializing in 3D art and other CG content.
Divine Cut features a minimalistic UI and is very easy to use, just map the body parts of your character as shown in the videos. After that, you can customize the style of the garment: the neck size, sleeve length, and drop length, from a crop top to a gown. As for trousers, you can set the width of the thighs and the ankles.
The developers have provided a few tutorials on making various types of clothes:
Divine Cut also includes painting and design options, allowing you to style the shape and behavior of the cloth.
For example, Shrinkwrap paints which parts of the cloth should shrinkwrap onto your character, and Pinning paints which parts should be bound. These parts will be pinned onto the character and won't be simulated, which is great for the cuffs of the sleeve, the waist, or any other part that you want to be pinned onto your character during the simulation.
Bloat paints which parts of the cloth you want to expand or shrink, Smooth is great for correcting the mesh after shrinkwrapping, and Pressure adds the pressure of gravity onto your cloth.

As for other customizing features, there are several design options available to help you stylize your clothes even further.
Clicking Bind will bind the object to your cloth automatically. This is great for buttons, zips, lapels, pockets, or threads. Zips create a zip on the selected edges of your mesh, Puff will create a puffer on the selected faces of your design, and Collar adds a special collar to your generated top.
Divine Cut add-on includes a demo file with a character rig and a collection of buttons and zipper objects. All simulations can be exported to game engines as .abc or .fbx files.
The add-on is available at Blender Market at $39.75 for Blender 3.0 and above.
