The renowned Character Artist has launched a new course on photorealistic 3D character creation.
Şefki Ibrahim, a talented Character Artist and Animator whose lifelike 3D portraits are renowned throughout the entire digital art community, has officially launched a brand-new course covering the essential skills and techniques you need to start creating hyper-realistic 3D characters.
Designed for intermediate and experienced 3D Artists, this course delves into the essential skills and techniques necessary for making photoreal 3D characters, covering topics like likeness sculpting, texturing, grooming, LookDev, lighting, and animation – everything needed to breathe life into your 3D characters
The guide, born out of numerous requests for insight into Şefki's character creation pipeline, consists of 28 videos spanning over 15 hours, offering hundreds of tips and tricks based on the artist's workflows.
Regarding the software requirements, participants will need Maya, Arnold, XGen, ZBrush, Mari, Marvelous Designer, and DaVinci Resolve for this course. Please note that the guide is not designed for complete beginners, and a certain level of experience in 3D character creation and familiarity with the listed software is assumed.
