Destiny 2's Year 7 Expansion To Bring A Bunch Of New Features

A new mighty subclass and a formidable enemy await the brave Guardians.

In the latest livestream showcase for Destiny 2: The Final Shape, the developer Bungie unveiled an array of exciting new features set to be part of The Final Shape update, which is to be released in June. This includes a powerful new subclass, an entirely new enemy race, and an innovative type of exotic armor.

The highlight of the reveal was the introduction of Prismatic, a new subclass that blends Light and Dark abilities. Players utilizing Prismatic can reach an elevated state of Transcendence by dealing both Light and Darkness damage, unlocking a unique grenade ability and bonus weapon damage.

Alongside Prismatic, The Final Shape introduces the Dread, an expanded enemy race that builds on the existing Subjugators and Tormentors. From bat-like Grim that suppresses your abilities to fearsome Husk that remains a threat even after being destroyed, you will have to evolve your strategies to contend with these new foes.

The livestream also showcased the introduction of Exotic class items specifically designed to enhance Prismatic builds. These items, boasting two random Exotic perks from different classes, open up a wealth of customization options.
