Waves of enemies and an impossible-to-beat mode are waiting for challengers in Onslaught.

Bungie is cooking quite a challenge for Destiny 2 players. During the Into the Light livestream, a new Onslaught mode was revealed, and it's something fans have been waiting for. Onslaught is a horde mode where 10 waves of enemies try to beat you into submission and get to the ADU, and if you're truly confident in your abilities – it's 50 waves for you.
The event is available for three players, but you can also go solo, although associate designer Noah Lee thinks it's "not possible" to win it alone. You'll need to collect scrap from opponents' bodies and then spend it on upgrades for turrets, tripwires, and decoys.
I'd say expect some useful loot and awesome rewards, although Bungie didn't specify what it will be. And, of course, get ready for lots of fun and the next stream on March 26 where the developers will share even more exciting details about Into the Light.
