Game creators say they have the ideas for Dead Space 4.
In a recent interview with YouTuber Dan Allen, lead developers of Dead Space, Game Director Glen Schofield, Animation Director Christopher Stone, and Creative Director Bret Robbins, discussed the game's creation and offered some insights into its development.
For instance, the creators told the audience that they pitched Dead Space 4 to the series' publisher, Electronic Arts, this year. Game Director Glen Schofield shared that the three of the developers suggested this idea in 2024. However, the publisher rejected this idea. According to the developers, the company's representatives said they were "not interested right now."
Schofield noted that they respected the company's opinion: "They know their numbers and what they have to ship." Christopher Stone said that they all would love to do it. "We've got some ideas," Schofield shared.
Motive
Hopes for the sequel have been in the air for a long time. Back in April, a small team at the game's developer Motive discussed ideas for Dead Space 4, but they were never approved.
