GACCHI, a renowned 3D Artist and Rigger whose Sousou no Frieren-themed creations we've previously featured, has demonstrated the difference made by using Maya Intersection Marker plug-in for Autodesk Maya. This tool detects and visualizes mesh intersections directly in the viewport: the top video demonstrates the animation before the modification, while the bottom video shows the result after the modification.
Developed by yamahigashi and shared on GitHub for free, Maya Intersection Marker is designed to streamline the process of checking for mesh intersections or "penetrations" in animations. By automatically detecting and visualizing these intersections within Maya's viewport, the plug-in significantly reduces the time and effort needed to identify and address these issues, ensuring smoother animations and improved efficiency in your workflow.
