Solstice-5, a short film produced by Paul Chadeisson, has finally been released.
After more than a year of hard work, Freelance Concept Artist Paul Chadeisson has finally unveiled Solstice-5, a short dystopian science fiction film serving as a cautionary tale about the potential dangers of uncontrollable progress and the relentless pursuit of power.
"In a race for domination, the Continental Alliance's ambition leads to the uninhibited exploitation of planet Solstice-5," reads the film's synopsis. "As they construct unstoppable autonomous factories, the Alliance's insatiable quest for power leaves behind a forsaken workforce in a world spiraling out of control."
Created in collaboration with Lambert Grand, who served as the Director of Photography, and Pierre Lazarevic, responsible for certain elements of UI, VFX, and concept art, the film boasts a plethora of breathtaking futuristic landscapes crafted by Paul using Blender, a free and open-source 3D software for modeling, texturing, rendering, animation, and VFX. Attached below are some of the static renders shared by the author on ArtStation:
