Classic Disney-Style FPS MOUSE Gets a New Gameplay Trailer

Garner the strength of Popeye the Sailor and travel like a Spider-Man in this upcoming noir-fueled game set to hit the shelves in 2025.

MOUSE, a highly-anticipated first-person shooter game with a neat 1930s art style inspired by old rubber hose Disney cartoons, has finally got a new official gameplay trailer during the Triple-i Initiative showcase.

Announced back in May 2023, MOUSE puts you in the shoes of private detective John Mouston, tasked to rid the dark and gritty city streets of menacing thugs using an assortment of firearms, melee weapons, and explosives.

The latest trailer revealed several new gameplay mechanics introduced to the game, including Spike-D, a can of spinach that gives the main character the powers of Popeye the Sailor, a grappling hook, which you can you to traverse the game's locations Spider-Man-style, and a helicopter that allows for extended aerial movement.

In addition to the new gameplay trailer, MOUSE has also launched its official Discord server, which you can join by clicking this link.

"Our goal has always been to create a game that combines our passion for animation with our passion for first-person shooters," commented Mateusz Michalak, CEO of Fumi Games. "We are genuinely committed to collaborating closely with the MOUSE community to craft a game that truly resonates with players. We'll aim to share more details – whenever possible – as development progresses."
